Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

MacAssist collects no data. Your devices talk directly to each other, and nothing they share ever reaches us.

This policy covers MacAssist for iPhone and iPad and MacAssist for Mac, made by Glydeo ("we").

What we collect

Nothing. MacAssist has no server, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. It contains no third-party code that collects data. We never receive what you do with MacAssist, which apps you use, or what you type.

How your devices connect

Your iPhone or iPad finds your Mac on your local network and connects to it directly. Before they connect for the first time, you confirm that both screens show the same code. After that, everything they send each other is encrypted, so other devices on the network cannot read it. The keys that pair your devices are stored in each device's Keychain.

What stays on your devices

To work, MacAssist keeps some information on your own devices. None of it leaves them, except between your paired devices over the encrypted connection.

Permissions

Other connections

Children

MacAssist collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date above.
